Process
How we work and how we quote.
We quote for each project rather than publishing a price list, because every business starts in a different place. This page explains what happens from the first conversation to launch, and what decides the cost.
- A first conversation. You tell us what the business does, what the website needs to achieve and what is not working now. We ask questions and say honestly whether we are the right fit.
- A written proposal. If we are, we send a proposal that sets out the scope, the deliverables, the timeline with milestones and the cost, line by line. Nothing is left as "to be confirmed" that affects the price. Most projects take around four weeks at most, once we have all the content and materials we need.
- Discovery and design. We agree the structure and content plan, then design the key pages for desktop and mobile, with agreed rounds of feedback.
- Build, test and launch. We build, test across devices and launch, then check search and analytics are working.
- Aftercare. After launch we can look after the site on a support plan: updates twice a month depending on the plan, tested on a staging copy or with a full backup taken first, backups kept for three months, and small changes included.
What decides the cost
The scope of discovery, whether the design is custom, who produces the content, which features and integrations are needed, how many page types the site has, and whether an existing site needs migrating without losing search traffic. For support, the size and complexity of the site and how much change work you expect.
What a good proposal includes
Scope and deliverables, who will do the work, a timeline with milestones, what happens after launch, and confirmation that you own your domain, hosting and code.
