The case study

Deyteros is a digital space for literature and culture, bringing together Greek, Cypriot and international authors with books and literary texts.

For this client project, MTX STUDIO developed a web experience that gives readers several ways into a broad collection. Visitors can begin with an author, browse books or explore contemporary contributions through Neo Analogio.

Finding a way into the collection

The author browser combines portraits with alphabetical navigation, helping readers explore by surname. Separate author collections provide entry points into different areas of literature.

The book section gives cover imagery a prominent role, alongside titles and publication years. Thematic links and recent additions offer further routes through the catalogue, while search remains available in the site's navigation.

Space for contemporary voices

Neo Analogio gives contributed writing its own place within Deyteros. Its author and work index includes search, alphabetical navigation and sorting controls, with links to participation information and text submission.

This connects the wider literary collection with an active editorial programme for writers and readers.

An editorial visual identity

Olive tones, warm neutral backgrounds and strong serif headings give Deyteros the character of a literary publication. The visual approach carries through the homepage, author collections and book pages, keeping the reading material central to the experience.

The result is a connected website for exploring literature, with consistent navigation across different types of content.
